Join us at the 2011 banner launch at the Owen Sound Farmer’s Market on Sunday, May 15 at 1 pm. Mingle with sponsors, artists and the public while viewing the full complement of 2011 banners prior to their installation at the harbour. Coffee, treats and great company await! Sponsored banners from the 2010 season will be available for pick up at the launch.

Also, artists included in the 2011 season have been asked to consider being on-site at the harbour to sit by their own banners, for the 2011 Doors Open Owen Sound Saturday June 4 and Sunday June 5, 10 am – 4 pm. Artists are invited to bring their wares and set up and sell all weekend long. There is no fee and it is a chance for artists to network, talk about their work with the public and sell their art. Bring coverings for shade, pop up display materials, etc. Just remember – the harbour can be windy! Artists are not required to be present the entire weekend of Door’s Open. The city is devoting an entire page to the banner project in their Doors Open publication and it’s a great opportunity for artists.
