2010 Owen Sound Art Banners are now available for pre-sale. This is your chance to reserve one of these fabulous one-of-a-kind art banners.
We invite you to participate in this exciting project, which will feature forty-eight artist banners installed throughout Owen Sound’s downtown core on Second Avenue East in 2010-2011. Don’t delay – the deadline for sponsorships is fast approaching!
The banner committee will endeavour to find a sponsor for each of the forty-eight banners produced for this cultural, downtown beautification project. Sponsorships cost $100. Sponsors may request specific banners or they may allow the Banner Committee to match available sponsors with available banners. In 2010-2011, three banners will be reserved for the work of regional youth.
Sponsorship benefits include :
- an invitation to the artist/sponsor meet and greet at the banner launch on Sun., May 16, 2010 at 1 pm at the Farmer’s Market
- your name or your company’s name listed beside your sponsored banner on the artbanner.ca website permanently, with a link to your website, if applicable
- your name or your company’s name listed in the Sun Times as a sponsor shortly after the banner installations
- your very own sponsored banner presented to you to keep after its one-year installation period throughout Owen Sound
- the pride that comes from civic engagement with the arts community and the beautification of Owen Sound
Please note that we are unable to list sponsors’ names or businesses directly on the banners themselves due to municipal restrictions.
